November 17, 2004Google News gets lots of international sources, which is good. These sources include some english-language sources from China; and occasionally, the english is entertainingly bad. My favorite recently: In talking about New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer’s (The Next Governor of the Empire State) taking on payola in the music industry, and with what I take is a garbled attempt to use the idiom “iron fist”, we get this gem: Spitzer’s iron wrist shits to music industry. Man, I really wouldn’t want to be the music industry.
