And while I'm on the subject of pretending in Oz World: For some reason, Oz thinks there's a very important difference between saying that, for example, what he just made with play-doh is "pretend food" (bad), and saying we're pretending that it's real food (good).

Recently, Oz has been pretending that he is a dad, and his stuffed Pooh bear is his son. Pooh then appropriately calls me "Grandpa", which I'm OK with. Mostly, it's kind of sweet, and as if he's emulating me, as a dad.
