Christian terrorist Rudolph enters guilty plea
April 13, 2005Christian terrorist Eric Rudolph pleads guilty in Olympic bombing. And if you don’t think he deserves that title, I highly recommend reading the Statement of Eric Robert Rudolph. The guy planted a series of bombs which killed people to further his anti-Washington “pro-life” agenda. But does the media call him a Christian terrorist? Well, Google News currently lists 1,074 articles about the Rudolph plea, and exactly one hit for “Christian terrorist” that leads to the Rudolph story — and even that one only gets a hit by quoting the Anti-Defamation League as calling him a “homegrown terrorist”, then later referring to him as “a follower of Christian Identity”.
How many hits would “Islamic terrorist” have gotten if his religious inspiration had been Islam rather than Christianity?

like i said its not the same. the ideology of ‘killing to spread the faith’ is much mor aspected in the islamic world as a whole compared to the christian world nowdays. eric rudolph is really more an exception. the medivals are over. but you have a good point. i wouldn’t call the christian world tolerant at all yet. not for long. especially not in america.
