Publican choke-hold loosens

According to (right-leaning) Gallup, the “Favorable vs. Unfavorable impression” split on the ‘Publican party has gone from 56/39 in February of this year, to 40/50 now. During the same period, the Dems have gone from 46/47 to 52/36. See the numbers here.
It’s not like the Dems have been standing up for progressive principles much these days either, but they’re still the lesser of the evils — especially given the “1984″-esque manufacture of war and stripping of freedoms the ‘Publicans have led.
