It's not just me getting old and grumpy; it's now been scientifically proven that College students think they're so special.

How can I not like this: The Rev. Lonnie W. Latham, another bible-thumping gay-bashing preacher, gets caught looking for some hot man-on-man action. Surprise, surprise; we all knew that loudest bashers are the ones with the biggest urge for the taste of manliness. And the arrest itself ...

As I've mentioned, I'm a big Al Franken fan. So I'm thrilled to hear that the rumors are all true, and he's running for the U.S. Senate. And since drug use that's over 25 years old is off the table, the biggest potential skeleton in his closet is ...

As you might have noticed, the "Recently Viewed" entries in the menu to the near left present the last bundle of things I've tagged on del.icio.us, the excellent social bookmarking site.

We've been pretty careful around religion with Oz. We decscribe ourselves as "Humanists" rather than "Atheists", although he knows that means we don't believe in God. And we've tried to clearly and consistently convey the moral view of understanding and tolerance toward the religious views of friends and ...

I'm not a huge Hillary fan. As I've said here before, we (in NY) could do (and have done) worse for a senator; but overall, she's way too right/center for my political tastes (on the war, on separation of church and state, on censorship, and lots of other things), ...
