New whirled order, or brave new whirled, or something

OK, new server (same old URL), new plugins, perhaps a slightly new look sometime soon.  And a new pattern of posts I’m going to try. I’ve posted little to the main blog this past year, but much more to the "tidbits" lists — both the "commented news links" you see in the far right sidebar on this page, and the "scrapbook" viewable in the tab at the top and directly at ron.tumblr.com.

The plan is to unify the tumblr posts — mostly just pictures and videos and quotes that catch my attention — and some of the commented news into the main blog here. Why? Well, why not? We’ll see how it goes.

Concretely, it should mean there will be many more posts here, but most of them will be shorter and just quick links and comments. Or so goes the plan.
