McCain is wussing out of the debate this Friday. He says his dog ate his homework — no, wait, it’s that whole economic crisis thing.
I suppose a debate would be uncomfortable when the policies you’ve been supporting (and not understanding) for the last 8 years have now forced the ‘Publicans to call for the Feds to buy up $700B in shit securities to save the market from itself. The Bush/McCain policies precipitated a “once in a century crises” (as W calls it) brought about by a greed-n-ideology fueled failure of regulation, and McCain just doesn’t want to talk about it right now.
